At the beginning of the planning there were long discussions with the builders, site visits, studies to find the suitable place where the new member should fit into this venerable society. To the existing sequence of farms should join another. The walnut tree was to be preserved, the barn was to be converted into a distillery - the passion of the builder. The simple two-story structure is surrounded by two massive half-meter thick brick walls - to one side simultaneously as a fire wall. The uncolored lime-cement plaster does its part to line up with the neighboring walls. Between them is an inserted solid wood structure, made of interior walls, ceilings and roof structure. The first floor with the living areas and the integrated kitchen surrounds the centrally located staircase. In front of it is the walled-in fireplace. In this way, the fire has a cozy warmth on all sides. Room-wide folding sliding windows allow the entire living floor to be opened on both sides. The interior rooms are protected from rain and sun by loggias in front. Cross ventilation also allows cool temperatures in hot summer months and one sits almost as if outside.
In the periods when the house is not used, the folding sliding shutters are closed and to the outside only the simple structure with its rhythm of brick walls and wooden infills appears again.
