The existing agricultural college with boarding school was extended by a boarding school extension with common and ancillary rooms as well as a gymnasium. Parts in contact with the ground were made of reinforced concrete with ETICS, above which a rear-ventilated larch wood facade was used.

The old inefficient supply with wood chip and oil boilers was removed and a district heating connection to Biomasse Tamsweg was established. The existing boiler room was reused, and an additional heating technology center is not necessary in the new building. The heat supply is decentralized via living room stations in the student rooms, which are located one above the other. The floor slab of the gymnasium is concrete core activated.
