The company building of Schilder Systems was implemented as a hybrid building with reinforced concrete skeleton and prefabricated timber frame wall elements in low-energy construction. Designed as a flexurally rigid box, the building is floatingly founded on unstable subsoil made of sea clay. The facade of the commercial building was covered with aluminum-plastic composite panels, the interior walls with OSB panels in exposed finish and partially with plasterboard. Heating and cooling is provided by heat pump with activated concrete components and screed surfaces with floor heating:

Heat pump: 113 KW, brine/water heat pump system with deep probes; PV system: 116 KW/peak, energy storage 18 KW

Ventilation was planned only for individual production workplaces and rooms according to technical requirements. The storage building is designed as an unheated space thermally separated from the production.
