A new administration building for approx. 150 employees was to be constructed for Schmidt-Seeger GmbH with its Beilngries site. The building is divided into a five-story administration wing and a two-story entrance hall for access and general functions. The 4 office levels are realized by the open-plan concept and the central combination zones as a place of meeting with tea kitchens and copy boxes. The use of mobile partition walls allows variable use, even for events with high numbers of participants. The required maximum transparency of the facade was implemented by triple solar control glazing with anti-glare blinds, in accordance with today's thermal insulation standards. Hinged window sashes support the individual requirements of the users and enable "natural ventilation" if required. The exposed concrete ceilings of the office levels received integrated heating-cooling registers. A controlled ventilation system with heat recovery ensures an efficient and comfortable indoor climate. (Text source: Boesel Benkert Hohberg Architekten, Munich)
