The Raiqa - the Innsbruck centre quarter

Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG is building a new headquarters between Südtiroler Platz and Bozner Platz, creating a lively neighbourhood in Innsbruck. This includes a four-star hotel, retail, catering, art spaces and more.

Sustainability and environmental awareness already played a central role in the tendering phase. Instead of demolishing the old building, it was carefully dismantled, which meant that some components could be preserved. The old tower, which was extensively revitalised, supports important parts of the new building. This reduces CO2 emissions by 30 per cent compared to demolition and new construction. Reusable materials were recycled as part of a social urban mining project or used for other purposes.

Completion is planned for the end of 2025.
