Das Haus am Park

The "Haus am Park" is a relatively small residential building with only 29 apartments, three offices and a dance studio on the first floor and is located directly at the central Helmut Zilk Park in the new eastern part of the Sonnwendviertel. The tallest building stands confidently at the corner of the site. With its differentiated development, illuminated via the courtyard and clearly visible from the outside, the new building continues its urban qualities on the inside. Open and freely usable floor rooms and common roof gardens are available to all residents.

KALLCO's "KLIMA LOOP" system uses energy from geothermal heat in a seasonal rhythm to support heating in winter and extracts excess heat from the building for cooling in summer. The heat is provided by underfloor heating and cooling via the ceiling (building component activation) in the freecooling mode. The reduction of up to 43% of CO2(equ) emissions compared to heating with district heating and conventional cooling is significant.
