All apartments have private open spaces such as balconies, loggias, terraces or tenant gardens. The apartments or living spaces have thermal activation of building components. The balconies or loggias in front help reduce summer overheating. The floor plans are compact and can be easily adapted to changing living conditions.
Room-high glazing through so-called French windows allows the sun to reach even the farthest corner of the living spaces and gives the apartments a generous spatial effect. Soundproof windows and sun protection are installed where they are required or particularly necessary from a building physics point of view. The outside staircase with seating steps and plant beds forms an entrance to the residential complex and invites people to linger.
The development of the urban configuration is based both on the specifications of the zoning and development plan and on the conditions found on site. Special attention was paid to the volumetric setting of the development, respectively the occupation of the edge and the free play of a center. The development accentuates the edge - with the aim of forming a common center, generating a maximum feeling of spaciousness, and creating views and vistas.
Coming from Käthe-Dorsch-Gasse, its extension opens up a view into the residential complex. A generous outdoor staircase with seating steps and plant beds forms the entrance to the complex and invites visitors to linger. Characteristic for the residential building is the generous and open staircase, the levels of which are staggered across the floors.
