Das Koloman
87 unique apartments with a high feel-good factor are being built in the heart of the Weinviertel's largest town.
The excellent infrastructure of Stockerau's town center combined with open spaces on the courtyard side ensure a high level of comfort and relaxation.
The Koloman is barrier-free throughout. From the underground garage with a total of 191 parking spaces, an elevator takes you to all floors and staircases.
Another special feature: the low energy costs for heating and temperature control thanks to a CO2-optimized energy and building concept with component activation, photovoltaics and an air heat pump.

At Hauptstraße 8 in Stockerau, a total of 190 rental and owner-occupied apartments with a high feel-good factor are being built under the name "Das Koloman". The Stockerau train station, which takes you to the capital city of Vienna in 20 minutes, is within walking distance of the residential complex, as are all everyday amenities such as grocery stores, shopping centers, schools, playgrounds, pharmacies, doctors and numerous leisure facilities. The apartments, all of which are barrier-free and range in size from 45 m2 to 119 m2, all offer generous open spaces such as balconies, terraces, loggias or gardens. The courtyard-facing design makes the residential project an oasis of calm in the middle of the city.
The project, planned by the Maurer team of architects and implemented by general contractor ZECH Bau, combines component activation, photovoltaics and air heat pumps as part of a smart energy concept and ensures that heating and cooling is possible without fossil fuels. This benefits the climate, but also the future residents, for whom the monthly energy costs will be significantly lower than in a conventional project.
Wind turbines supply the construction site with electricity
The construction site itself is also a strong signal for sustainable construction: SÜBA AG was the first property developer in Europe to test a total of 16 micro wind turbines for autonomous power supply as part of a pilot project in Stockerau. The wind turbines with an output of up to 16,000 KW/h per year were mounted on a construction crane and supply the crane and the construction office with electricity during the construction work. SÜBA plans to use this innovative solution on other construction sites in the future.
